Physical Plant Director
JOB OVERVIEW
The Global Capital of World Peace* (GCWP) also known as the Purusha Capital, home of the Maharishi Purusha Program* (MPP), is seeking a for Physical Plant Director for the GCWP in West Virginia.
Both the GCWP and the MPP are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations dedicated to creating coherence and peace through the practice of Transcendental Meditation* and the TM-Sidhi* program.
REPORTS TO
Purusha Capital Director, Bill Crosson
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Oversee the daily operations of the physical plant, including building maintenance, grounds, utilities, fire safety system, vehicles, and equipment 
- Develop and maintain an effective maintenance program 
- Manage staff, ensuring they are properly trained and supported 
- Perform general maintenance as required 
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental health and safety standards 
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies or troubleshooting issues 
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, systems, and maintenance activities 
- Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers 
- Develop and track budgets for any major physical plant projects 
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills, including relevant work experience, and be eager to acquire knowledge in areas he may be dealing with for the first time. Experience dealing with contractors and overseeing staff is a plus.
