Physical Plant Director
Job Overview
The Global Capital of World Peace* (GCWP) also known as the Purusha Capital, is seeking an in-residence Physical Plant Director for its campus in Romney, West Virginia, home of the Maharishi Purusha Program* (MPP).
On-site position provides on-campus housing. Spouses are welcome, and there may be additional staff opportunities available for them.

Director, Global Capital of World Peace
Responsibilities & duties
Oversee the daily operations of the physical plant, including building maintenance, grounds, utilities, fire safety system, vehicles, and equipment
Develop and maintain an effective maintenance program
Manage staff, ensuring they are properly trained and supported
Perform general maintenance as required
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental health and safety standards
Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies or troubleshooting issues
Maintain accurate records of equipment, systems, and maintenance activities
Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers
Develop and track budgets for any major physical plant projects
Qualifications
Applicants should have basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills, including relevant work experience, and be eager to acquire knowledge in new areas. Experience dealing with contractors and overseeing staff is a plus.
