Wellness
Something that is real to life is housed in the Himalayan heights: peace eternal. And peace eternal is the basis of all possible dynamism in human awareness. —Maharishi
Join Purusha* for this extraordinary course that explores historic 1991 Conference on Maharishi Vedic Science* in Maastricht, Netherlands. At this landmark gathering, attended by more than 7,000 people, Maharishi revealed the real depth and significance of his Vedic Science.
Through this course, we will revisit his profound insights and gain a clearer understanding of Vedic Science—its universal principles, its practical applications, and its transformative value for both individual life and society as a whole.
Deepen your Experience of the Transcendent with Live Recitations
In addition to this powerful course, you’ll enjoy the rare privilege of live recitations of the Vedas performed by our very own Maharishi Vedic Pandits. Plus, you’ll benefit from the coherence created by 140 Pandits practicing their TM and TM-Sidhi program together, along with their daily performance of Rudrabhishek Yagyas for world peace.
Rejuvenate your Body and Mind With Wellness
Transcend in the Himalayas
Alongside the wisdom of Vedic Science and the wholeness created by the Pandits, you’ll have the opportunity to refresh your body and senses with powerful Maharishi AyurVeda* treatments.
Enjoy soothing Abhyanga oil massages and calming Shirodhara, restore balance through Marma therapy, and uplift your being with Aroma therapy. These rejuvenating treatments both complement and deepen your experience of the Pandits’ daily recitations, as well as your TM-Sidhi practice—leaving you renewed in both body and mind.
Transcend in the Himalayas
Located near Kathmandu, the Maharishi Vedic Institute campus at Champadevi, is nestled in the Himalayan foothills and surrounded by exquisite scenery.
Stunning views of the Himalayas surround the campus (on a clear day 😊)
Built according to the principles of Maharishi Vastu* architecture, the campus contains thirty-seven guest rooms and residential accommodation for up to 400 Maharishi Vedic Pandits. Additionally, most of the produce comes from our own Vedic Organic fields – and the food is delicious!
Impressive natural surroundings provide ample hiking opportunities, including a one-hour hike to Champadevi peak, which stands directly behind the campus. At this particular time of year, the days are mostly sunny with temperatures ranging from 25-28°C / 77-82°F during the day, and 8-11°C / 46-52°F during the night.
Optional: enjoy even more powerful transformation
with the Maharishi Purusha Program
After the course ends, you are welcome to continue on a Taste of Purusha course course for a minimum of one week up to 90 days. But there’s no rush; you can apply to extend during the course itself.

and bask in Himalayan history
Kathmandu is that historic place where, in 1974, Maharishi taught 25,000 people the Transcendental Meditation technique in just one week, and we’ll have the privilege of soaking in and then expanding upon the sattva that he initiated.
