Purusha Physical Plant Director
JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a single man to manage the physical plant at the Purusha Capital.
The Purusha Capital is a separate legal entity from the Maharishi Purusha Program and provides housing for the Maharishi Purusha Program in the United States.
REPORTS TO
Purusha Capital Director, Bill Crosson
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Oversee the daily operations of the physical plant, including building maintenance, grounds, utilities, fire safety system, vehicles, and equipment
Develop and maintain an effective maintenance program
Manage staff, ensuring they are properly trained and supported
Perform general maintenance as required
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental health and safety standards
Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies or troubleshooting issues
Maintain accurate records of equipment, systems, and maintenance activities
Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers
Develop and track budgets for any major physical plant projects
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills, including relevant work experience, and be eager to acquire knowledge in areas he may be dealing with for the first time. Experience dealing with contractors and overseeing staff is a plus.

The Maharishi Purusha Program was established in 1982 with hundreds of participants at various locations around the world, including the Purusha Capital in Romney, WV, Germany, Holland, and India. The purpose of the Maharishi Purusha Program is to create higher states of consciousness for its many participants, generate peace in the world, and offer courses such as World Peace Assemblies for Governors/Sidhas and TM Retreats for meditators.
