Purusha Physical Plant Director

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a single man to manage the physical plant at the Purusha Capital.

The Purusha Capital is a separate legal entity from the Maharishi Purusha Program and provides housing for the Maharishi Purusha Program in the United States.

REPORTS TO

Purusha Capital Director, Bill Crosson

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Oversee the daily operations of the physical plant, including building maintenance, grounds, utilities, fire safety system, vehicles, and equipment

  • Develop and maintain an effective maintenance program

  • Manage staff, ensuring they are properly trained and supported

  • Perform general maintenance as required

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental health and safety standards

  • Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies or troubleshooting issues

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment, systems, and maintenance activities

  • Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers

  • Develop and track budgets for any major physical plant projects

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills, including relevant work experience, and be eager to acquire knowledge in areas he may be dealing with for the first time. Experience dealing with contractors and overseeing staff is a plus.
