Finance Manager
JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a single man to assist with managing the finances for Purusha.
Maharishi Purusha Program (MPP) is a legally registered 501c3 ‘not for profit’ organization which offers programs and courses for the purpose of creating enlightenment for the individual and peace for the world. We have many participants globally and offer courses of varying length. We receive financial support in the form of donations from individual well wishers and various organizations.
REPORTS TO
Maharishi Purusha Program Finance Board
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Maintain donation records 
- Track inflow and outflow of finances 
- Manage bank, brokerage, and investment accounts 
- Process room and board payments 
- Oversee finances for both domestic and foreign courses 
- Interact with donations and accounting offices on all of the above 
QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and financial management (however we are willing to train qualified applicants) 
- General computer skills (Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel) 
- An aptitude for record keeping and financial management 
- Attention to detail

- Monthly gross salary is $1000 (negotiable depending on experience)

ABOUT THE MAHARISHI PURUSHA PROGRAM AND THE PURUSHA CAPITAL
The Maharishi Purusha Program was established in 1982 with hundreds of participants at various locations around the world, including the Purusha Capital in Romney, WV, Germany, Holland, and India. The purpose of the Maharishi Purusha Program is to create higher states of consciousness for its many participants, generate peace in the world, and offer courses such as World Peace Assemblies for Governors/Sidhas and TM Retreats for meditators.
