The retreat is a precious time for gaining deep rest, profound knowledge, and fathoming the silent levels of your own inner awareness. We recommend you make the most of this opportunity by focusing fully on the course schedule that you will receive upon arriving and saving phone calls, work, reading, and other recreational activities for when you return home. Your mind will then be free to gain the deepest possible rest and enjoy clearest possible experiences of higher states of consciousness.

One of the most unique features of this facility is that it is home to roughly 80 individuals who have devoted their adult lives to the experience of higher states of consciousness. Maharishi gave this group a special name, ‘Purusha’, which means ‘consciousness alone’. A similar group for ladies exists in yet another beautiful facility, in this case in the mountains of Upstate New York. Their name is ‘Mother Divine’, in honor of the laws of Nature that spring from the pure field of consciousness, or ‘Purusha’. As you will undoubtedly experience upon first entering the facility, these groups create a very powerful environment that is conducive to much deeper experiences of higher states of consciousness.
In addition to the above, all of the 20-plus buildings on our campus have been designed in accordance with the principles of Maharishi Vastu. Maharishi Vastu is a very specific science in the field of architecture whose aim is to create structures which are in accord with all the laws of Nature. As one example, the main entrance to these buildings faces due east because the sun’s energy is most nourishing when it is rising, etc.
During your stay, you will enjoy the benefits of living in such comfortable structures, built according to the laws of Nature, along with the powerful atmosphere created by their permanent residents, the Purusha group.
