Course details
Where
Maharishi Vedic Institute,
Kathmandu, Nepal
The campus is a forty-minute drive south-west of Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu International Airport). Shuttle service to and from the airport is included in the course fee.
The Maharishi Vastu℠ campus contains thirty-seven guest rooms, eighteen mandaps (Maharishi Vastu buildings for Yagyas), and residential accommodation for up to 400 Maharishi Vedic Pandits. Additionally, fifty percent of campus food comes from our own Vedic Organic fields (and is delicious!) not to mention that the location is surrounded by lush forests filled with refreshing Himalayan air.
Stunning Himalayan views surround the campus (on a clear day 😊)
The impressive natural surroundings provide ample hiking opportunities including the two-hour hike to Champadevi peak, which is directly behind the campus.
From late March through April, the days are mostly sunny and dry with temperatures ranging from 24-27°C / 75-81°F during the day, and 7-11°C / 45-52°F at night.
From May into June, the weather turns warmer and humid, with daytime temperatures of 28-29°C / 82-84°F and nighttime temperatures of 15-19°C / 59-66°F. By mid-June, the pre-monsoon showers begin, bringing increased cloud cover and rainfall toward the end of the period.
